Driftwood: "Is this a folk instrument?"
Mayfield: "Well, yeah, because it was inspired by a folk singer and by the Campus Folksong Club. Should I play it or just show it off a little?"
Driftwood: "Yeah. I want you to play it and tell us about it."
Mayfield: "Well, it started out to be a toy for my three-year-old son, and the more involved I got with it, the more interested I got in it, and finally I just took it away from him altogether and started playing it myself. I'm going to pick a little instrumental. I'll make it short, Jim; I know you're pressed for time. This is the first song I ever played on it."
