GET ALONG, LITTLE DOGIES

I was walking one morning for pleasure.
I spied a . . . riding alone.
His hat was thrown back,
And his spurs was a-jingling,
And as he approached he was singing this song:

Whoop-ee-ee-o, get along, little dogies, get along,
It's your merry time and none of my own.
. . . you'll get along, little dogies, get along.

(Comment by Mrs. Huddleston: "Well, my eyes are just a-watering 'til I can't see no more of it.")
