When you come from your work in the evening,
And the little ones climb on your knee,
They laugh at the stories you tell them,
As full of their fun as can be.

And you catch the wee rogue, and you kiss her,
And a kiss she is throwing to you,
Behind the door now then she's hiding,
Just to hear you say, "Peek-a-boo.
Peek-a-boo, peek-a-boo;
Come from behind that chair.
Peek-a-boo, peek-a-boo;
I see you hiding there."

(Mrs. Caldwell: "She and my sister had an organ, and she had a music teacher that was born there, and that music teacher used to play that little song and sing it, and that's . . ."
??: ". . . where . . . place were you, though, in Missouri?"
Mrs. Caldwell: "That was in Missouri, uh huh."
Dr. Wolf: "Well, that's interesting.")
