We are volunteers for Jesus,
Fighting 'gainst the mighty wrong,
And we see our captain lead us
So successfully along.
We shall never grow discouraged,
But shall strike the heavy blow
That will end the dreadful conflict
And put down the crafty foe.
Onward, ever onward, marching
Fully armed to meet the foe.
Jesus leads the ready column,
And to victory we do go.
Do not falter, Christian brother;
Raise your banner to the sky.
When the foe at last is vanquished,
We shall reign with Him on high.
