(Dr. Wolf: "Mrs. Garrott will sing what she remembers of "Old Grimes is Dead," and "Rosin the Bow." She learned both of these songs from her father, who died when she was nine years old.)

Old Grimes is dead, that good old man;
We ne'er shall see him more.
He used to wear a long-tailed coat
All buttoned down before.

His heart was open as the day;
His feelings all were true.
He wore a double-breasted vest;
His pantaloons were blue.
