Well, I fell in love with a nice young girl,
'Twas at this fancy ball.
She wore her hair on the top of her head,
And she called it a waterfall.
She dressed in the heights of fashion--
She said her name was Rose--
And I never shall forget that girl,
For she had such a wonderful nose.
Oh, didn't she have a nose,
A funny, funny nose.
But not so very funny, I suppose.
Every time she would go out,
The little kids, they would shout,
Dobedy doobedy geeb-a-wac,
But what a nose.

Well, I took her into a restaurant,
And I sit her down to supper.
She fainted over the table,
Ran her nose into the butter.
She sneezed so hard she strangled,
And then a moment later,
The limburger cheese slipped down her back,
And she choked to death on a potater.
