Frog went a-courting, and he sure did ride,
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.
Had a sword and a pistol, too, at his side,
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.

Chorus: Kee-mo wy-mo kee-mo ky-mo,
Rolly rolly ray.
Rock strop penny winkle flanna-doodle yella booger,
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.

He rode right up to Miss Mousie's door,
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.
And he knocked so loud that he made it roar,
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.
He took Miss Mousie on his knee,
Said, "Please, Miss Mouse, marry me."
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.

(Chorus)

She said, "Now, I can't tell you that."
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.
"You'll have to ask my Uncle Rat."
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.
Uncle Rat gave his consent,
The weasel wrote the publishment,
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.

(Chorus)

Where will the supper be?
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.
Away down yonder in a hollow tree,
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.
Who will the waiters be?
A pink-eyed gnat, a black-eyed flea.
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.

(Chorus)

What will the supper be?
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.
A buttercup and a dewdrop tea.
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.

(Chorus)

The first came in was a big white moth,
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.
She spread her wings for a tablecloth.
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.

(Chorus)

The next came in was a big black gnat,
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.
And he sat down on Uncle Rat,
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.

(Chorus)

Now this crowd's plumb tired of my song,
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.
Now give me my fiddle and I'll amble on,
Rock strop by Mr. Gamble.

(Chorus)
