He'd mow-wy-wo-wy-wo-wo-wode
Once round the fie-wy-we-wy-wield,
And up come ta rattle, come snay-wy-wake
And it bit him on the hee-wy-we-wy-wheel.

He looked all arou-wow-wow-wow-wound,
And he closed his ey-wy-wy-wy-wyes.
Oh, maw, get Sal-wal-wal-wal-wal,
For I'm gonna die-wy-wy-wy-wy.

Now up come Sal-wal-wal-wal-wal
Without her shoe-a-oo-a-oos,
And she looked at Joh-wa-wa-wa-wan,
And it give her the blue-woo-woo-woo-woos.

"Oh, Johnny, dear-wa-weer-wa-weer,
Now why did you go-wo-wo-wo-wo
All around the fie-wee-wee-wa-wield
Of grass for to mow-wo-wo-wo-wo?"

"Oh, Sally, dear-weer-weer-weer-weer,
Now don't you know-wo-wo-wo-wo,
When the grass gets ri-wy-wy-wy-wipe
Then it's gotta be mo-wo-wo-wo-woed."
