Then I was arrested, Locked in the Louisville jail. My friends and my relations Tried getting me out on bail. The jury found me guilty, The clerk, he wrote it down. The judge, he passed a sentence, Twenty-one years in . . . (Dr. Wolf: “Mr. J.D. Stark put down the tune to ‘The Louisville Burglar’ for me on that tape.
